Aldermore gains new commercial director

Aldermore today announced the appointment of John Carter as Commercial Director within the Commercial Real Estate team.

John, who has 30 years’ experience, joins from Clydesdale Bank where he was responsible for its commercial real estate proposition. Prior to this, he worked for National Australia Bank, Bank of Scotland, Bank of Ireland and ING.

Managing the Commercial Mortgages and Property Development teams, John will be responsible for developing new propositions and enhancing the customer journey to meet growing demand.

Based in Aldermore’s Reading office, John will report into Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director of Business Finance.

Earlier this year, the Bank increased the maximum property development loan size to £25 million and launched a new seven-year fixed commercial mortgage rate.
